Cynthia Sam-Vogelsang is a certified family nurse practitioner, receiving her certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner’s Certification Program.
She began her career as a nurse practitioner in 2008, with more than eight years of experience in nursing before pursuing her professional degree.

Alvarez devoted two songs to his mother, Delia Alvarez, during an intimate performance at the chapel of Lovelace Women's Hospital, where Ms. Alvarez is a patient.
It has been two weeks since Alvarez, the choir director at St. Jude Thaddeus Church has performed in front of an audience.
"I'm still anxious about returning," Alvarez said.

Lovelace Health Plan members now have the opportunity to access a medical provider on a same-day basis at the Atrinea Health clinic at 111 Rio Rancho Blvd, Suite 108., by N.M. 528 and Rockaway.
The Rio Rancho Regional Chamber of Commerce and Mayor Tom Swisstack recently celebrated the opening with a ribbon cutting.
The clinic is the result of an agreement between Lovelace Health Plan and Atrinea Health, a company that focuses on primary, preventive and urgent care.
TRICARE provides health insurance to service members, veterans and their families. There are more than 60,000 TRICARE beneficiaries in New Mexico.

The New Mexico Health Insurance Exchange has no shortage of doctors and people with health insurance experience.
Board members include Dr. Martin Hickey, former CEO of the Lovelace Hospital and Lovelace Health Plan and now president and CEO of New Mexico Health Connections, the state’s startup, nonprofit health plan, and Ben Slocum, CEO of Lovelace Health Plan.
Also on the board is Sidonie Squier, secretary of the New Mexico Human Services Department.
Lovelace Health System will open a new primary-care clinic this summer and is adding seven physicians to its staff.
The system, through its Lovelace Medical Group, will open Lovelace Health Care Center at 8401 Constitution NE on Aug. 1. According to a Lovelace announcement, “The clinic will be a patient-centered medical home, which organizes care around the patient, allowing clinical teams to better coordinate and track care.”
