Heartfelt 50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

Johnny Pethoud and his wife Pam Pethoud are grateful they were able to recently celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary at Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center with sparkling grape juice. Just a few days before, while beginning their celebration at Angel Fire, Johnny started to feel tightness in his chest and have shortness of breath.

Lovelace CEO and CFO Accept ALS Challenge

As of Friday, August 29, 2014, the ALS Association is reporting more than $100 million has been raised in the popular Ice Bucket Challenge. Lovelace Health System President and CEO Ron Stern, along with Lovelace Health System CFO Stephen Forney, accepted the challenge in true style!

Lovelace Leadership Accepts ALS Challenge

To date, donations to the ALS Association in response to the viral "Ice Bucket Challenge" have reached in excess of $88 million dollars. Several senior leaders at Lovelace recently made a donation and took the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, including Lovelace Westside Hospital CEO Farron Sneed, Lovelace Medical Center CEO Troy Greer, Lovelace Rehabilitation Hospital CEO Derrick Jones and Lovelace Westside/Women’s Hospital CFO Reuben Murray. We applaud them not only for taking the challenge, but also for being doused in their suits and ties! 

Lovelace Cancer Care Program Will Open Medical Oncology Clinic in Partnership With Hematology Oncology Associates

Lovelace Cancer Care Program is partnering with Hematology Oncology Associates of New Mexico (HOA) to offer medical oncology services starting early 2015. The program will offer the latest in cancer oncology treatment for cancer patients, including medical oncology and radiation treatment.

“We are proud to partner with HOA to offer seamless cancer care to our patients,” said Troy Greer, CEO, Lovelace Medical Center. “Now patients will have a full continuum of care within the Lovelace system.”

Always a Place in Her Heart for Lovelace
