Our Neurologists have expertise in diagnosing, treating and managing disorders of the central nervous system, including the brain, spine and peripheral nerves. Our neurologists work closely with psychiatrists and neurosurgeons to manage a broad range of disorders. If surgery is required for a neurological condition, they will arrange for referral to a neurosurgeon.

We provide complete neurological care, from initial consultation through treatment and follow-up.

We offer the following diagnostic tests:

  • Electroencephalography (EEG)
An EEG uses highly sensitive monitoring equipment to track brain activity registered through electrodes placed on the scalp. The test normally takes about 60 to 90 minutes, and no shaving of the head is necessary.
  • Electromyography (EMG) and Nerve Conduction Studies (NCV)
An EMG records the contraction of a muscle in response to electrical stimulation. Also called a nerve conduction study (NCV), the test is performed by placing electrodes over a nerve or muscle, which is activated by electrical stimulation.
  • Evoked Potentials Tests (VEP, SSEP, BAEP)
Evoked potentials help doctors diagnose and evaluate neurological problems, including spinal cord injuries, acoustic neuroma and optic neuritis. The three types of evoked potential tests – visual (VEP), brainstem auditory evoked potentials (BAEP) and somatosensory (SSEP) – use light, sound and electrical stimuli to test nerve responses.

We also schedule MRI, MRA, MRV, CT and ultrasound studies for diagnosis of neurological disorders, and we provide Botox injections for the treatment of movement disorders, spasticity, pain and other non-cosmetic problems.
