Lovelace Westside Hospital

For 27 years, Lovelace Westside Hospital has been committed to
offering Rio Rancho and Westside residents the latest in cutting-edge
technology and high-quality care. Our 24-hour emergency department
offers patients the ability to see a provider in about 30 minutes or less.
In recent years, the hospital has undergone a significant remodel and
has added new services, including the Westside’s first 64-slice CT
scanner, digital mammography and new MRI capability. We have also
added a surgical and medical weight loss program, offering effective
options for individuals whose weight increases the risk for health
problems or causes a decreased quality of life.

Last year, the hospital opened a new Birthing Center, which brought
birthing services to Rio Rancho and the Westside of Albuquerque
for the first time in 14 years. The unit features 24/7 anesthesiology
coverage, an OB surgical suite for C-sections and a lactation program.

As of spring 2012, Lovelace Westside Hospital will offer the only Inpatient Pediatric Unit providing care to Rio Rancho and Westside
Albuquerque. The Inpatient Pediatric Unit will have coverage 24hours a day, seven days week coverage with board-certified pediatric hospitalists.
