ALBUQUERQUE, July 7, 2022 –– Lovelace Medical Group’s primary care clinics have received the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home Re-recognition for 2020-2023, exemplifying their commitment to the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based and nationally-recognized clinical standards of care. Lovelace Medical Group (LMG) first gained the recognition in 2016, which includes the Independence Square, Westside Irving and Las Estancias clinics.

ALBUQUERQUE – June 24, 2022 – Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center (Heart Hospital) has received the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines®-Heart Failure Gold Plus with Honor Roll Quality Achievement Award while Lovelace Medical Center earned the Get With The Guidelines® - Stroke GOLD PLUS with Honor Roll Elite and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll, both for the tenth consecutive year.

ALBUQUERQUE – June 20, 2022 – Lovelace Women’s Hospital recently became the first hospital in the world to place the SCOUT® Radar Localization system utilizing MRI guidance, providing a new advanced treatment option for patients with breast cancer. Kathleen Meyer, MD, a board-certified radiologist, successfully performed the procedure earlier this month, which decreases patient discomfort and improves outcomes.

ALBUQUERQUE – May 26, 2022 – Lovelace Women’s Hospital was recognized for excellence in lactation care by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® (IBLCE®) and International Lactation Consultant Association ® (ILCA®). It is the only hospital in the state of New Mexico to earn this award, which it also received in 2020.

ALBUQUERQUE – April 20, 2022 – Lovelace Health System is pleased to announce that Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital was named to Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare 2022 list. This is Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital’s third time on the list and the only one in New Mexico to make the list.

ROSWELL, May 10, 2022 —Lovelace Regional Hospital (LRH) received an “A” safety grade in the Spring 2022 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade report, a national distinction recognizing its achievements protecting patients from harm and error in the hospital,  This is the third safety grade “A” in a row for LRH.

ALBUQUERQUE – April 15, 2022 – Lovelace Women’s Hospital is the first hospital in New Mexico to achieve three Center of Excellence Accreditations from Surgical Review Corporation (SRC), including accreditation as a Center of Excellence in Hernia Surgery and re-accreditation as both a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology and a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery.
