Heart Hospital Gets Love From American Heart Association

The Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center has been honored by the American Heart Association for its treatment of severe heart attack patients.

The hospital has received the AHA’s Silver Mission: Lifeline Receiving Center Quality Achievement Award, Lovelace said in a news release. It got the award for implementing quality measures to open blocked arteries and immediately restore blood flow in heart attack cases.

Lovelace Medical Center is dedicated to improving the quality of care for our patients who suffer a heart attack, and the American Heart Association’s Mission: Lifeline program is helping us accomplish that goal through internationally respected clinical guidelines,” said Lovelace Medical Center CEO Troy Greer. “We are pleased to be recognized for our dedication and achievements in cardiac care.”
