Heart Hospital Wins Award

An Albuquerque hospital is receiving a huge honor. The Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace Medical Center has won the Mission Lifeline Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes the response time and quality of treatment of patients who suffer severe heart attacks. It’s the only hospital in the state to receive the award. The Heart Hospital is also the only accredited Chest Pain Center in Albuquerque.

Heart Hospital awarded for treatment of patients

The Heart Hospital of New Mexico at Lovelace was awarded the silver Mission: Lifeline Receiving Center quality achievement award – the highest recognition in New Mexico – from the American Heart Association for the treatment of patients who suffer severe heart attacks. According to a news release, the Mission: Lifetime program helps hospitals, emergency medical services and communities improve response times.
