Lovelace to add primary care clinic

Lovelace Health System will open a new primary-care clinic this summer and is adding seven physicians to its staff.

The system, through its Lovelace Medical Group, will open Lovelace Health Care Center at 8401 Constitution NE on Aug. 1. According to a Lovelace announcement, “The clinic will be a patient-centered medical home, which organizes care around the patient, allowing clinical teams to better coordinate and track care.”

The clinic will accept payment from several insurers, including all Lovelace Health Plan products, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Molina Healthcare, TRICARE, Medicaid and Medicare.

Southwest Medical Associates, which is part of the medical group, announced two obstetrics and gynecology specialists have joined the practice.

They are Carol Kiesling and Patrick Dawson.

OB/GYN specialists joining the practice this summer are Willis Kephart, Carmen Gonzales and Michael Smith.

Family practice physicians Aaron Pfau and John Tucker also will join Southwest Medical this summer.
