Lovelace Medical Group Hires a Family Practitioner and a Pediatrician

ALBUQUERQUE , NM , June 29, 2006 – As part of its ongoing commitment to improve its healthcare services in Albuquerque , Lovelace Health System recently hired two new physicians. Sharyl Magnuson , MD and Cecilia Concepcion, MD have joined the Lovelace Medical Group. Each physician brings with them a different expertise to the Lovelace Health System.

Sharyl Magnuson, M.D. is a board-certified family practitioner receiving her medical degree and completing her residency at the Oregon Health Sciences University . She is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP). Dr. Magnuson is located at the Academy Health Care Center at 8080 Academy Rd. NE in the Long-Term Care Team. Cecilia Concepcion, M.D. is a board-certified pediatrician receiving her medical degree at the Far Eastern University in Manila , Philippines . Her medical interests include asthma in newborns and adolescent medicine. Dr. Concepcion completed her residency at the St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP ) .
