Lovelace Health System has hired two new executive level staff members. They are Farron Sneed, CEO for Lovelace Westside Hospital. Sneed has 20 years of experience in health care administration and previously worked as the chief operating officer/facility compliance officer for Bluefield Regional Medical center in Bluefield, West Virginia. Prior to that, Sneed served as the Assistant Chief Executive Officer at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. He has also served as an administrator at McKinney Surgery Center in McKinney, Texas. He has a bachelor’s degree in Health Education/Community Health from Oklahoma State University and a master’s degree in Health Administration from University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He is a fellow at the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Chad Pew, Chief Operating Officer for Lovelace Medical Center. Pew brings over 15 years of health care experience and previously worked for more than two years as the associate administrator at Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas. As part of the senior leadership team there, Pew oversaw a 470 bed health care system. Prior to this role, he was the Director of Laboratory and Cardiopulmonary Services at Providence Health & Services Centralia Hospital in Centralia, Washington. Pew received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Chadron State College in Nebraska an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
