Pew is a new hire. He will serve as COO for Lovelace Medical Center.

Pew has more than 15 years of health care experience. Most recently, he was the associate administrator at Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, overseeing a 470-bed health care system.

Prior to that, he worked as the director of laboratory and cardiopulmonary services for Providence Health & Services Centralia Hospital in Centralia, Wash.

Pew has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Chadron State College in Nebraska. He has achieved board certification in medical technology, MT(ASCP), from Hays Pathology School of Medical Technology, and has a master’s of business administration with a concentration in health care administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Pew is a fellow at the American College of Healthcare Executives.
