Drs. Kiesling and Dawson Join Southwest Medical Associates

SOUTHWEST MEDICAL ASSOCIATES (SWMA) has hired two new doctors.

They are Carol Kiesling, OB-GYN and Patrick Dawson, OB-GYN.

Kiesling previously worked at Women’s Specialists of New Mexico and previously had a private practice for 15 years in Amarillo, Texas. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing from West Texas State University; a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston; a master’s of divinity degree from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Mass.; completed a residency at Texas Tech University; and is certified in advance cardiac life support, robotic hysterectomy and fetal monitoring.

Dawson previously worked for ABQ Health Partners and also worked for more than two years at the Gallup Indian Medical Center. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, summa cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater; a medical degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison; and completed his residency at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati. He is board certified and a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
