Giving Back, LMC Donates to Make a Wish Foundation

Lovelace Medical Center sponsored a 17-year-old Roswell girl’s wish through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Lovelace Medical Center’s $5,000 donation allowed the girl, named Taylor, to go to New York City to spend a day as a model for Seventeen Magazine. The magazine’s team did a special photo shoot with Taylor, complete with hair, makeup and stylists. Taylor said that it is important that she shares her story of overcoming adversity with as many people as possible, and that is why modeling for Seventeen was important to her. Taylor was diagnosed with ganglioneuroma while she was in elementary school.
