Lovelace Women’s hospital placed 13th on the list; Lovelace Westside Hospital, 41st; and Lovelace Health Plan, 82nd, according to the magazine’s website.

They were the only New Mexico health care organizations on the top 100 list for 2012, which was published in the magazine’s Oct. 10 edition.

The magazine said 340 hospitals and health care organizations participated in the ranking process, which included surveys of employers and employees. The organizations were ranked on several criteria, including policies, benefits, demographics and working environment, the magazine said.

In September, Lovelace Women’s Hospital was named as one of the top hospitals in the U.S. by The Joint Commission, an organization that accredits more than 19,000 health care organizations and programs. The hospital was named one of the top 620 hospitals for surgical care and treating pneumonia.
