Contract gives Humana members in New Mexico access to Lovelace Health System’s doctors and inpatient, outpatient and emergency services
ALBUQUERQUE — September 16, 2014 — Lovelace Health System and its affiliated medical group, Lovelace Medical Group/Southwest Medical Associates, will now provide in-network health care benefits to members of Humana’s Medicare Advantage health plans in 23 New Mexico counties.
Effective Oct. 1, 2014, in-network benefits to Lovelace’s full inpatient, outpatient and emergency services will be available to members of Humana’s Medicare Advantage HMO, PPO or Private-Fee-for-Service health plans in the following counties: Bernalillo, Catron, Cibola, Colfax, Curry, De Baca, Grant, Guadalupe, Lincoln, Los Alamos, McKinley, Quay, Rio Arriba, Roosevelt, San Miguel, Sandoval, Santa Fe, Sierra, Socorro, Taos, Torrance, Union and Valencia.
Humana members may seek services through Lovelace’s network of hospitals, clinics and providers. This includes more than 80 Lovelace Medical Group providers, five hospitals, two family/internal medicine clinics, two Women’s Services Clinic and a pulmonary clinic in Albuquerque, as well as a hospital and family health center in Roswell.
