Truven Health Analytics named Lovelace Health System among the top 20 percent of health systems in the country.
It is the only health system to make the list in New Mexico. Truven Health Analytics released its 100 Top Health Systems list identifying the top U.S. health systems based on balanced system-wide clinical performance. The Truven Health Top Health Systems study used data from more than 300 organizations and singled out hospital systems that achieved superior clinical outcomes based on a composite score of eight measures of quality, patient perception of care and efficiency.
Lovelace Health Care Center in Roswell
In May, Lovelace Regional Hospital-Roswell opened a new primary care clinic called Lovelace Health Care Center in Roswell. Services at Lovelace Health Care Center include preventive health care, health education, wellness exams and screenings, long-term care, chronic illness management such as hypertension, diabetes, heart disease; women’s services, children’s services and geriatric services. Same-day appointments are available. The Center is staffed by Glenn Vogelsang, M.D., Ph.D., and Cynthia Sam-Vogelsang, a certified family nurse practitioner. Lovelace Health System Launches Public Education Campaign on Health Care Reform
Lovelace Health System has launched a new website and educational meetings to inform the public about health care reform and health care exchanges. The website, www.healthcareinformednm.com, was designed specifically to educate the public with easy-to-understand information on health care reform. This site includes a section on common questions and answers, background information, videos and blogs.
