Cynthia Sam-Vogelsang is a certified family nurse practitioner, receiving her certification through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner’s Certification Program.
She began her career as a nurse practitioner in 2008, with more than eight years of experience in nursing before pursuing her professional degree.
Prior to joining Lovelace Regional Hospital-Roswell, Cynthia practiced in family practice/urgent care, in rural Southeastern Oklahoma, where she served since 2003. Cynthia earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. She earned her master of science degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, choosing the nurse practitioner pathway. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
As a family nurse practitioner, she provides care for individuals and families across the life span. She manages both acute and chronic health problems, incorporating health promotion and disease prevention.
