We offer an exceptional continuum of cardiac services, from heart-healthy clinical dietitians and diagnostic testing to cardiovascular surgery and inpatient rehabilitation after a heart attack. Our skilled cardiologists, cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeons, interventional radiologists, and support staff use state-of-the-art technology, offering treatment options for all types of heart and vascular conditions.
Diagnostic Testing and Services
We offer a full range of diagnostic services to detect heart disease. For patients with chest pain, we offer a variety of tests which provide a non-invasive way of evaluating the status of a patient's heart prior to going to the cardiac catheterization or electrophysiology labs. Information from the following tests is reviewed by physicians to determine the best plan of care to offer our patients:
|
• Stress Testing |
• Electrocardiograms |

Leading Edge Technology: 64-Slice VCT Scanner
With the latest innovation in computed tomography (CT), our brand new 64-slice VCT (volume computed tomography) scanner has the capability to cover a patient's anatomy faster than conventional CT scanners, select any diagnostic study with confidence providing the resolution for spectacular views of veins and arteries, and automatically reformat images to the clinical views needed for diagnosis. This leading-edge technology also gives us the ability to perform CT angiography, rapid scans for ER stroke and chest pain, and whole body trauma.
64-Slice VCT Procedures:

Post-Procedure Recovery&Care
Our newly expanded inpatient Intermediate Care Unit and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit have been designed to provide the best care with state-of-the-art monitoring equipment. We also provide large, private rooms and open visiting hours that allow family members to be present and involved in care.
- 36-bed Intermediate Care Unit
- 12-bed Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
Heart Healthy Dietitians
Our clinical dietitians provide heart healthy diet education for our cardiac patients. Cardiac Intensive Care Unit patients receive nutrition assessment and recommendations for both enteral (feeding via a peg tube) and parenteral (intravenous feeding) nutrition formulas.
Physical Therapy Rehabilitation Inpatient Services
Assisting our patients in their recovery process is our top priority. For patients that are undergoing an inpatient procedure, our physical therapy staff provides gait training, therapeutic exercise and functional mobility, and provides additional training for activities of daily living (dressing, grooming, and transfers). We also make safety and equipment recommendations and instruct the patient in appropriate exercises at time of discharge. For the convenience of our patients, referrals are made to outpatient cardiac rehab programs near the patient's home or that are covered under their insurance.
