In recent years, the hospital has undergone a significant remodel and has added new services, including the Westside's first 64-slice CT scanner, digital mammography and new MRI capability. Lovelace Westside Hospital now offers the only Inpatient Pediatric Unit providing care to Rio Rancho and Westside Albuquerque. The Inpatient Pediatric Unit has coverage 24 hours a day, seven days week with board-certified pediatric hospitalists.
