Orthopedic services include diagnosis and treatment, including surgeries, for pain and disorders of the musculoskeletal system. This state-of-the-art, compassionate care includes treatment of the bones, joints, nerves, muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Some of the treatments we offer include:
Our patients’ comfort and satisfaction is important to us. That is why we are pleased to offer private rooms and post-surgical follow-up with a nurse.
Our patients now have the opportunity to begin a “pre-hab” program with us. This unique program is designed to give total hip and total knee replacement patients a jump start on the rehabilitation that will be required after surgery.
The class is scheduled, at a minimum, twice each month. Talk with your orthopedist or call 575.622.4665 to learn more information about the class dates, time and location.
All patients scheduled to have total hip and knee replacement surgery at Lovelace Regional Hospital-Roswell are invited to a class to learn more about the pre-hab program. The class is facilitated by a licensed physical therapist and includes other disciplines as available and as needed, including nursing, surgery, cardiopulmonary, dietary and case management.
Class content may include, but is not limited to:
General information will be distributed to the attendees. Specific patient issues may be addressed as part of the patient’s initial evaluation following their surgery.
Additionally, we offer physical therapy twice a day, and all our orthopedists are credentialed by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons.
