Continence Care

Incontinence affects approximately 25 million Americans of all ages. More common in women than in men, urinary incontinence can occur during pregnancy, following surgery, or as a side effect of prescription or over-the-counter medications. It can also be related to menopause or prostate conditions.

At Lovelace, we believe the more information you have about continence care, the better you can manage your condition and improve your quality of life. Bladder and bowel incontinence are complex conditions that are best treated by skilled health professionals. Early intervention can prevent problems or keep them from worsening over time.

Our board-certified physicians treat:

  • Stress incontinence
  • Urge incontinence
  • Overflow incontinence
  • Functional incontinence
  • Reflex incontinence
  • Urinary infections
  • Pelvic floor problems
