Perinatologists from the University of New Mexico 's Maternal Fetal Medicine program are now offering a complete range of services at Lovelace Women's Hospital for women experiencing high-risk pregnancies. We'll work closely with your obstetrician, midwife or family physician, who may refer you to us for treatment of a range of conditions, including:
- Hypertension or Preeclampsia
- Diabetes
- Kidney disease
- Heart disease
- Lupus or other auto-immune diseases
- Multiple pregnancies
- Fetal anomalies
- Preterm labor
- Hyperthyroidism
- Sickle cell disease
- HIV
- Bleeding/clotting disorders
- Recurrent pregnancy loss
- Suspected intrauterine growth retardation
